Years ago, when I was building my fitness app, I hired a marketing agency. They kept encouraging me to create clickbait content and promise quick results because "that's what works."
It never felt like my voice.
I didn't grow as fast as others did. But years later, many of the people who still exercise with my videos are the same people who found me back then.
Reading your story reminded me that sometimes growing more slowly is simply the price of staying authentic. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank YOU for sharing your experience. I think a lot of women solopreneurs, especially, need to hear that truth.
From where I stand, I do not wish to build an empire. I wish to create the conditions within which authenticity evolves and we become more. We cannot do that with “clickbait,” that’s reserved for the Hormozi’s of the world. “But wait, there’s more!” lol … whatever.
All I know is that I build what is in alignment with who I am choosing to become, not in alignment with the templates of the world.
Thank you for the opportunity to reflect deeper AND to know that slow growth is growth! And it feels much better because it’s aligned.
This resonated with me more than I expected.
