Inspired choices
What if I really am The One who creates it all?
Dear reader,
I absolutely adore my life, my work, my clients, and my daily experience of living. Yet, somehow, I had unintentionally found myself in a familiar yet unpleasant daily grind around “business”.
As many of you know, I have spent a lot of time, money, and most importantly energy, to get this ‘right’. I followed the so called experts. I used their formulas. I even let them write my information page copy for me (this one still really stings).
Then, just like that, I woke up! Thanks, in large part, to Louise LeBrun and her invitation to explore what it takes to live an inspired life over the next six months.
The word “inspired” became my keyword that unleashed everything I had been holding on in my nervous system and body. It is unlike me to give my power away to ‘experts’, yet that’s what I did.
So I paid the price.
And now I’m back, present and engaged as ever.
My intention moving forward? To honour myself and you in the process by showing up 100% authentically, whatever that means in the moment. My hope is that you discover how enlivening authenticity really is.
What steals our Life Force from us is not the truth, but the depth of the fear about decloaking the truth.
I have seen this time and again. The intensity of the avoidance strategies that lead us to believe it is ‘safer’ to stay rooted in our own illusions, and therefore misery.
It never occurs to us that we are The Ones who create it all.
This is not a judgment on anyone, for that would be pointless. I don’t look at my creations over the last little while as a ‘waste’ because they taught me to pay attention. They showed me where I was living distracted instead of inspired. They became the invitation to expand my mind about how I show up in life, business, and with my clients.
Our perceived imperfections are not to be hidden, they are to be engaged. When Louise speaks of “the magnificence of our imperfections,” it is from a place of power. Our so-called imperfections are invitations to evolve, to become more than we were a nanosecond ago, to choose aligned. And in that, we change the trajectory AND the quality of our lives.
I don’t yet know exactly what this means for me and my work, but I know for sure that I am done referencing external sources that push me to push you. Instead, I am slowing everything down to hear the whispers of my own voice.
And that honest voice is the only voice that will come through in this space.
PS - My intention over the next few months is to explore what it takes to live an inspired life in the midst of whatever is going on in the world. I will invite you to consider different possibilities for yourself, particularly when it comes to how you choose. Feel free to engage what’s meaningful, and leave the rest.

This resonated with me more than I expected.
Years ago, when I was building my fitness app, I hired a marketing agency. They kept encouraging me to create clickbait content and promise quick results because "that's what works."
It never felt like my voice.
I didn't grow as fast as others did. But years later, many of the people who still exercise with my videos are the same people who found me back then.
